Dear Family-
Hello! Howzit? This will probably be a short letter since I talked to you just the other day.
It was nice to talk to you. It was strange though because after I did, it didn't seem like it. I don't know, it was just strange.
Things are going well. It is hard to be in a threesome. We have fun together and we work hard together. In fact, we just had the best week that I have ever had on mission as far as stats are concerned (teaching, discussions, finding people to teach etc) But it's just hard to be three. There seems to always be some type of contention in the companionship. A lot of the time I feel ganged up upon, just because I am the senior companion and they don't think that there should be a senior comp. in our companionship, which is true to a certain extent. They are both great missionaries and they are completely capable of making great decisions concerning the area. The only thing is that, especially with a threesome, when there are disagreements on what to do there needs to be a deciding voice or vote, that's the role of a senior comp. Well, they've basically not allowed me to do that and there has been a lot of disagreement. It's frustrating, I don't know how exactly to handle it. I'd feel like a snot if I tried to "pull rank" on them. I want them both to be equal in the decisions, but we all have differing ideas. Well, anyhow, enough of that. Things will work itself out. We've only been together for a few days. I'm sure everything will come right once we get used to each other.
Nothing too exciting has happened recently so I don't have much to write about.
I love you all very much! I love being a missionary. I love it more and more every day. I sometimes think that I never want to go home, but I'd miss you all too much!
Take care!
Love,
Michelle
