Family-
Hello! Howzit? How's everything going with the new business? I'm sure everything will be quite hectic for a while. But I'm sure everything will be nice and calm by the time I come home! :)
Things are still great here. The Lord is continually blessing us and allowing us to find people who are just waiting to accept the Gospel. It's incredible!
This weekend was Stake Conference. What a wonderful experience! I think Stake Conference is a highlight for every missionary because you get to see people from old areas and old investigators. I think the greatest experience you can have on mission is to have someone who you've taught the Gospel to, who you've grown to absolutely love, upon seeing you run into your arms almost in tears. I think experiences like that make mission most worth it.
Elder Simons, the newly called member of the Seventies, was at Stake Conference. It was great. He is an incredible man. He spoke with such power and authority. He told everyone that they were feeling the Spirit and that they can't deny it. I think that was great for our investigators who were there. We had a family who we are teaching there. They loved every minute of it. They are a family of 8. They will be baptized on the 8th of December. They are such a cool family!
Training is going well. It's not too hard or anything, but I look forward to the time when she is confident enough to do 1/2 of the work. Right now it is about 90% to 10%. It's very tiring to me to be doing 90%. She's totally capable to do 50%, but she doesn't believe that. She has a very pessimistic attitude about life in general. I think it makes things tough on her. She's way cool though, we get along really well.
I found out that we will be away on Christmas Conference on the 24th, 25th and 26th, so it looks like we'd have to do the phone call on the 23rd. What time would be best for you all. Where will you be? Reno? My phone number here is 9032709, I don't know the country code or anything. I'm sure you can figure it out, but I'll see if I can find out.
Sometimes I feel like it is tough to write home every week, because there is not always exciting things to write about.
I'm excited about you opening the store. It sounds great. But how is Mike working there? I thought he was going to UVSC. What's up?
I feel like I almost have too many options open to me when I come home. I have no idea what I want to do. In a way, I tell myself that i shouldn't worry about it because I have 7 months before I need to decide, but on the other hand 7 months really is not very long. It scares me!
Anyhow, I'd better end. I love you all very much! I miss you all and look forward to the time that we can be together again.
I'm so grateful for the opportunity I have to be serving a full time mission. Yesterday in Stake Conference, Elder Simons had all the missionaries stand up and is just hit me hard (again, as it has several different times throughout mission) the magnitude of my calling. It's a wonderful experience. It has changed me so much.
I know this church is true!
I love you all!
Michelle :)
